CHRIS WRIGHT

Supporting Chelsea has been a passion of mine from a very early age. I went to Stamford Bridge for the first time during the 1989/90 season and I have never looked back since. My fondest memory growing up was being the Chelsea mascot in 1993 as a ten year old and I have been a season ticket holder with my dad since 1997/98 which has been truly wonderful witnessing Chelsea literally win everything. Writing about our great club gives me much pleasure and I especially love reminiscing about all things Chelsea from the 1990's. This is reflected in my book 'Blue Days' as I look back on the wonderful era under Hoddle, Gullit & Vialli.

When I'm not watching Chelsea I'm working with vulnerable children. Since I left University I've worked with children with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour. After gaining a teaching qualification I also train staff in all aspects of their work and am also part of the recruitment process.
I also like to see myself as a family man. Any spare time is spent with my wonderful wife and my two beautiful young children who without I'd be lost.

I'm a regular writer for the cfcuk fanzine and you can find me on Twitter at @chriswrightzz & Instagram at @chelsearewind.
